Dogs, water and good days out

Sea Dog Vest started the way a lot of good ideas do: with a dog who couldn't stay out of the water.

We're a small Aussie-run store based in Perth, and we love dogs. They're our mates, our fishing buddies and the first ones at the boat ramp. Man's best friend really does mean it, and a day on the water is better with them along for the ride.

Why we do this

Spend any time on a boat, a jetty or a beach and you'll see it: dogs jump in without a second thought, whether or not they can really swim. Deep chests, short legs and tiring out fast catch plenty of dogs by surprise. We wanted to make it easier for dog owners to put a bright, easy-to-spot flotation vest on their best mate before they head out.

• Real help with sizing. Use our size calculator, and if you're stuck, email us. We'd rather help you pick the right size than have you guess.
